Title : Helical Anchors and Foundations

Speaker : Mr. Jake Stovall w/ Helical Concepts, Inc.

Jake Stovall has worked in the Helical Pier Industry for 20 years. He specializes in New Construction projects and facilitates jobs from small home projects to large scale government jobs.

ABSTRACT : Helical Piers are used in both new foundation construction and foundation repairs. Mr. Stovall will define helical piers, give an overview of the Chance Helical Pier, show how to determine its capacity, present many applications where helical piers may be used, and list the information the engineer needs to provide when specifying helicals for his or her deep foundation element design.
