Title : 60 Tips in 60 Minutes - A Primer for the Certified Forensic Litigation Consultant Exam

Speaker : John McReynolds, CGR GMB CFLC w/ Construction Defect Consultants, LC

John McReynolds, CGR GMB CFLC, is a construction consultant with more than 15 years experience specializing in identifying, resolving and/or preventing construction related problems in residential and commercial properties and has more than 25 years overall experience in construction. He also provides expert witness services for both plaintiffs and defendants. John is the Houston Chapter president and immediate past national president of the Forensic Expert Witness Association (FEWA).

ABSTRACT : 60 Tips in 60 Minutes is a primer for the Certified Forensic Litigation Consultant (CFLC) exam. Being a great expert does not always translate to being a great expert witness. Throughout the year in both in-person meetings and webinar presentations, FEWA program attendees receive training from a wide range of professionals in the industry and learn how to more effectively apply their expert skills in a legal environment. Within this sampler program to be presented to the FPA, attendees will hear a few examples from each of the nine core competency areas that expert witnesses need to know and that are part of the CFLC exam.
