PRESENTATION SUMMARY

To a room of about 70 at HESS, Ms. White presented an extensive amount of advice on how to be an expert witness. She also provided substantial coaching on how to prepare for and present depositions. Much of her presentation was applicable to all facets of investigations, including reports, presentations, opinions, testimony, and depositions. Essential technical skills and experience were outlined along with personal appearance. A very informative part of the presentation was a discussion on methods used by attorneys during depositions and trials. The information provided foreknowledge of tricks, traps, methods and pitfalls.

Ms. White’s education as an engineer was very obvious and helpful when she presented the importance of technical expertise and experience.
